Dead animals in the woods, creepy strangers wearing gas masks and the possibility that loved ones may be getting taken over by an alien force are the key ingredients for Teacup, Peacock's eight-episode series based on Robert McCammon's 1988 novel Stinger.

Yellowstone's Ian McCulloh is acting as showrunner for this survival horror, with James Wan executive producing. Yvonne Strahovski, Scott Speedman, Chaske Spencer, Kathy Baker, Boris McGiver, Caleb Dolden, Emilie Bierre, and Luciano Leroux star. The Haunting of Bly Manor's E.L. Katz is directing the opening episodes.

Teacup is streaming on Peacock from Oct. 10, with two new episodes weekly.
