How's the diplomatic tension, people!? Returning for Season 2 is Netflix's deeply addictive political drama, which is one of the TV shows we can't wait to see this autumn.

Created by Debora Cahn (The West Wing, Homeland), The Diplomat returns with Keri Russell in the lead as U.S. ambassador to the UK Kate Wyler. Remember that finale? So much happened and people who we thought might be dead are not — according to the trailer. Which means it's pretty awkward for some.

U.S. Vice President Grace Penn (Allison Janney) is here, and UK foreign secretary Austin Dennison (David Gyasi) is still dishy.

Bring us more secret workplace romances and geopolitical turmoil, please!

How to watch: The Diplomat Season 2 premieres Oct. 31 on Netflix.
